NUCA of Oregon & SW Washington (NUCAORSWW) held its PAC Kick-off Event on Feb. 5 at the Aquariva Restaurant (Avalon Hotel) in Portland. The keynote speaker was American conservative talk radio show host Lars Larson. According to his Web site, Larson got his start in radio at age 16 spinning records and reading news, sports and weather on KTIL from a little cinderblock building on the edge of a cow pasture in Tillamook, Ore. 28 years later, he’s only moved 75 miles to the East (Portland), but light years to the right.
Joining NUCAORSWW PAC club members for an evening of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, cigars and lively conversation, Larson shared his unique take on the upcoming election, candidates and an overview of the state and local government scene.
